Tugboat to Palmyra Atoll

Tugboat to Palmyra Atoll is a true story that I experienced back in the fall of 1997. The story starts with me talking to a new neighbor who is a tugboat captain. We become friends, and two years later, he asked me if I would like to experience going to sea. At that time, I was in love with sailing and had dreams of blue-water sailing. The story takes the reader through what I experienced, and like a lot of things in life, dreams and reality can be polar opposites. The reader also learns about the oddity of Palmyra Atoll, along with its dark history.
