Two young women traveling from Petersburg, Virginia, to Mule Creek, Montana-assignment: collect a fortune in gold to help re-establish a defeated Confederacy. One young man sent from the Rum River Ranch in Minnesota to Sweetwater, Idaho, with the task of receiving a priceless Appaloosa stallion acquired from the Nez Perce Indian Nation and transporting them both safely home.
