The Sounds of Silence

The Sounds of Silence is composed of three stories. In “Mariweathers,” Brent finds out the exponential effects of silence can be infinite. In the story “Whole,” Captain Jonas chases a sound that bears man’s greatest struggle. In the third story, “Rumor Has It,” Bishop Albertus Mongiano struggles with a silence that nearly destroys his life as a clergy. Albertus later discovers his silence bears the sound of falsity.
